In 2014, the Thrive Foundation, acting on its new mission to “guide disadvantaged youth to reach their full potential by strengthening the presence and impact of caring adults in their lives,” searched across the nation for organizations providing services to disadvantaged youth nationwide with a caring adult at the center of their program delivery model and found eight exemplary organizations. Thrive then embarked on an evaluation of these organizations to see what they were doing with youth – especially in regard to the caring adults in the youth lives – that made them so effective. This report contains the findings of the evaluation.
